【白宫官员：取消对加拿大征收50%的钢铁、铝关税】金十数据3月12日讯，美国白宫贸易顾问纳瓦罗当地时间周二下午表示，特朗普总统周三将不会把加拿大钢铁和铝进口关税提高到50%。六个小时前，特朗普宣布计划将加拿大金属25%的进口关税提高一倍，以回应加拿大安大略省对美出口电力征收25%附加费（在特朗普发出威胁后已取消）的决定，而安大略省的这一举动本身就是对特朗普对加拿大进口商品征收25%关税的报复。纳瓦罗还表示，对所有进口的钢铁和铝的25%关税将于12日午夜开始实施，且不会有豁免
